The Mantra Experience

The four artists here at Mantra have, between them, over forty years experience of Professional Tattooing. This includes numerous magazine and TV appearances. And travel throughout the world at many world-class conventions from which we bring back some of the very latest in designs and techniques.

We have won awards for our art, we mix and exchange ideas with some of the best artists in the world; and this keeps our finger on the pulse in a rapidly progressing industry

In a unique relaxed atmosphere client attention is paramount at Mantra. Consultation time with the client is as important to us as artists as it is to the client receiving the work, whether its your first time or the last sitting on a full back-piece, we take the time to make sure that the decision is the right one.

As experienced artists with advanced knowledge of our trade including the very best in inks, designs, standard of work and placement techniques covering all styles. We feel we offer the very best to meet the clients requirements.

We work very closely with the chief health environmental officer in our area so we can offer the latest in protective measures for both the client and ourselves. All materials are used once and once only. All needles are disposed of, as are the inks used and all relevant equipment after each client.

We enjoy what we do and we want you the client, to enjoy what we do, for a very long time. We at Mantra feel that getting your tattoo done should be a really good experience; relaxed, professional and with a fantastic outcome (and something you will always be proud of).

Bob started Mantra with the idea of giving the client the very best of his knowledge and artistic ability to achieve the best result. When Mark joined him the studio introduced a whole host of new ideas and fresh approaches. We both satisfy a hunger for finding the latest and best products available. After being joined by Paul, the studio took another leap forward. Paul has a real willingness to learn and put forward suggestions, Mantra was again full of inspiration and commitment to provide the highest standards of body decoration. Paul has a real concise eye for detail, and a wicked sense of humour.

Finally we were joined late last year by Darryll who has a fascination for the art. He is particularly fond of the indigenous aspects of tattoo (tribal, Maori, Polynesian etc.) and is committed to doing the utmost for the client. He has more than proved his worth as an addition to the Mantra team; a team that is committed to working together, for each other and the client. The results; quality work in a fantastic environment... And that's what it's all about!
