Custom WorkOk, so if you have ever been to the Mantra Studio you may have noticed the thousands of Flash designs adorning the walls. However not every tattoo comes from flash (as some people believe), indeed I would guess the majority of Mantra’s work is one-off, custom or even freehand. Hence this little bit of Monkey blurb about Custom Tattoo. Collectively, from what I understand, the Mantra boys have over 40 years tattoo experience and are all confident and competent when it comes to freehand and custom work (See the galleries). You see the thing about custom tattoo is that it obviously ensures complete originality, but as well as this in my experience the design and consultation process of custom tattoo is a special one. In 99% of cases the Artist seems to relish the process, and I believe this reflects in the clients experience and more importantly the end result. Some people, especially those fresh to the whole tattoo thing, may find it hard to envisage how such a permanent art form can possibly flourish when done freehand or custom. Rest assured the spirit of Limited Edition (to 1!) Custom tattoo is alive and well at Mantra Tattoo. |
