Tattoo Studio Guide Review
February 2004
If you were at the Cheltenham Convention this year you will understand what I mean when I say it is not possible to put into words what the atmosphere was like.
To simply describe the excellent organization, outstanding entertainment, quality stalls and artists, and huge numbers of visitors would never come close to portraying the overwhelming buzz of excitement and enjoyment felt by all those that were at the Cheltenham Racecourse on the 30th and 31st of August.
This convention was a great success in it's first year last year, so this year people were not only looking forward to it, but had great expectations.
They were not disappointed. With an improvement on the weather from the previous year, this convention had everything you could wish for.
The organizers provided us with so much entertainment, that it was difficult, nay impossible to watch everything that was going on and with tattoo artists working solid throughout, it was no surprise that the weekend saw some outstanding tattoos created.
The stalls were better positioned this year, not only being better for the trade, but adding to the overall ambience. Something for all the ages at this one, it really is a 'festival'.
All I can say about this show is; if you can only make one convention next season - don't miss this one.
Just one bit of advice, bring a picnic or packed lunch 'cos the food is a bit expensive.
See you there!
